2024 Wrapped

As we wrap up 2024, we’re bursting with pride and excitement about all that we’ve accomplished together. From winning awards (yes, we did!) to launching new features and clubs, Think Digital Academy continues to grow and thrive as a global leader in online education. Together, we have faced challenges, celebrated achievements and continued to innovate in online education. Thank you for being part of our TDA family and this remarkable journey!

Memorable Moments

Beyond academics, our students embraced opportunities to connect and explore:

  • Field Trips Galore: From the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town to the Johannesburg Zoo for World Owl Day, our learners immersed themselves in the wonders of the natural world.
  • Apartheid Museum Visit: A poignant experience for Grades 10 and 11 to understand South Africa’s rich history.
  • Meet & Greets: Despite being an online school, we planned fun meetups for our students in the city of gold.
  • Virtual School of The Year 2024: We Did It! We’re thrilled to share that Think Digital Academy has been named Virtual School of the Year, again! This incredible achievement is a testament to our amazing students, supportive parents and dedicated team. Thank you for being part of our success story—you’re the real MVPs!

Looking Ahead to 2025

We are excited to offer even more opportunities for growth in the new year, including:

  • Live Virtual Breaks: to provide social interaction and harness connectivity.
  • Coding and Robotics: Get ready to power up! We’re introducing this exciting subject to the CAPS curriculum for Grades 1–9.
  • New Literary and Dance Clubs: Whether your passion is words or waltzing, these new clubs promise to inspire creativity, connection and fun!
  • Virtual Open Day: A Virtual Open Day on 13 January 2025 will give you an inside look at our learning approach and community.
  • Virtual Orientation Day: Our Grade 10-12s can mark their calendars on 17 February 2025 to get the inside scoop on the year ahead.

Enrolments Open for 2025

While we’d love to assume you’re sticking with us, students do not automatically roll over to the next grade. Please make sure to re-enrol for the next academic year. Enrolments for 2025 are open and can be done through your dashboard or our website.

Term 1 (48 days)
Start: Wednesday, 15 January ⚊ Close: Thursday, 20 March

Term 2 (51 days)
Start: Tuesday, 8 April ⚊ Close: Friday, 27 June

Term 3 (48 days)
Start: Tuesday, 22 July ⚊ Close: Friday, 26 September

Term 4 (37 days)
Start: Tuesday, 14 October ⚊ Close: Wednesday, 3 December

A Heartfelt Thank You

As we head into the holidays, don’t forget to pat yourselves on the back too! You’ve earned it! Let’s make 2025 even better—more learning, more growth and more academic joy!
