Further development of analytical skills in literature, advanced composition techniques, and public speaking.

Focuses on building proficiency in both spoken and written Afrikaans. Students develop a deeper understanding of grammar and expand their vocabulary, enhancing their ability to communicate clearly and effectively in everyday situations. Emphasis is placed on improving conversational skills, reading comprehension and writing fluently in a variety of formats.

Comprehensive coverage of higher algebra, trigonometry, pre-calculus and introductory calculus concepts.

Detailed studies in biology, physics and chemistry, emphasising scientific inquiry, experimentation and the scientific method.

Expanded studies in world history, advanced geographical studies, political science and introductory philosophy.

Mind Power for Teens is included for British International students in Stage 8, at no additional cost, to develop critical thinking skills.

Stage 8 assessments and feedback
